FactThe Winneshiek county seat is Decorah, the home of one of the last remaining main street chick hatcheries in the nation. The Decorah Chick Hatchery has been in business since 1923 and provides poultry to local businesses. Stop by to see some baby chicks and buy a “quality chick” t-shirt.
